susana klik works since 1974 as designer/architect in spain, austria and internationally.. belonging to a small group of professionals about to change the world of interior and furniture design as much as  the way/style of life people would live in from then on.. eg modern, functional, minimal and/or eclectic and affordable..

since then the camera was a companion on worldwide journeys and local walks..

nature, the human condition, cultural diversity.. 

it's languages, habits, space/time, perspectives.. light/shadow, color/form in all its manifestations, possibilities, surfaces.. are the subject of permanent investigation, concern/preoccupation, experimentation and creativity..

her photographic work is a reflection of perception, awareness, and the need/intention to express, capture and frame transient reality in order to visualize, convert, transform the intrinsic aesthetic of mostly unspectacular situations, textures, objects, nature.. 

in a short fraction of infinite time.. often with surprising results, unexpected qualities..

visual irritations and ironic alienations/emphases are the main characteristics of most compositioins/frames in susana klik’s  work.. she playfully makes us aware of the multiple possibilities, capacities and levels of one’s visual perception and demands  imaginative and innovative ways of `seeing/perceiving´ of the viewer.. ihre photographische arbeit ist die reflexion von wahrnehmung und notwendigkeit, sowie der absicht die vergängliche realität darzustellen, einzufangen/einzurahmen um die eigentliche, verborgene aesthetik von meist unspektakulären situationen, texturen, objekten, natur.. zu visualisieren, transformieren, neu auszurichten.. in a short fraction of infinite time.. mit überraschenden resultaten und unerwarteten qualitäten..
